Community

Community isn’t just a word in Manilla, it’s a way of life.

We’ve got some great people, facilities, clubs and organisations, and we’re happy to embrace you as an honorary local. Everyone is welcome, and there are many ways to contribute:

• Join one or more of our many community organisations, which include the Country Women’s Association (CWA), Manilla Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA), Manilla State Emergency Service (SES), VIEW Club, Lions Club, Rotary Club, Meals on Wheels, the Manilla Matters - s355 Committee, the Manilla Show Society, the Manilla Men's Shed and Manilla Community Renewable Energy,

• Worship with us at Manilla Anglican Church, St Michael’s Catholic Parish, Manilla Presbyterian Church or Manilla Uniting Church,

• Get your creative juices flowing with Knitting for the Needy, the Art & Craft Society, Musicians of Manilla, Makers of Manilla, the Manilla art trail and the Manilla Caledonian Pipe Band,

• Volunteer with Manilla Landcare, Renewable Manilla and the Manilla Information Centre,

• Enjoy socialising with the Manilla Day Centre Group (for seniors) and the Manilla Carer Support Group,

• Bring your family to the Manilla Mum's Group, Story Time at Manilla Library, Manilla Playgroup, Manilla Early Learning and Manilla Pre-School, and
